Physical-Dualism is a research focused experimental project that sought to investigate the binary term of “digital dualism”. As a term, it is outdated and not characteristic of how people interact with technology in their everyday lives. The project involved combining physical and digital methods to create something not complete if one is presented without the other. Specifically, I painted 3 subjects, then created animations for each that were projected back onto the paintings themselves.
